백/White ]Tuesday of the Second Week of Easter.

입당송  Introit Antiphon Revelation 19:7, 6

Let us rejoice and exult and give him the glory,
for the marriage of the Lamb has come,
and his bride has made herself ready.
Hallelujah! For the Lord our God the Almighty reigns.

본기도  Collect

Almighty God,
By the resurrection of Christ,
you have guaranteed our salvation.
Grant that we may live in the fullness of new life
and proclaim the power of the risen Christ.
Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, for ever and ever.
Amen.…….

제 1독서  First Reading
< One Heart and One Soul

A reading from the Acts of the Apostles. Acts 4:32-37
The community of believers was of one heart and mind,
and no one claimed that any of his possessions was his own,
but they had everything in common.
With great power the Apostles bore witness
to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus,
and great favor was accorded them all.
There was no needy person among them,
for those who owned property or houses would sell them,
bring the proceeds of the sale,
and put them at the feet of the Apostles,
and they were distributed to each according to need.
Thus Joseph, also named by the Apostles Barnabas
(which is translated "son of encouragement"),
a Levite, a Cypriot by birth,
sold a piece of property that he owned,
then brought the money and put it at the feet of the Apostles.

The Word of the Lord.
◎ Thanks be to God.

화답송  Responsorial Psalm Ps 93:1ab, 1cd-2, 5(◎1a)

◎ The Lord is king; he is robed in majesty.
or:

◎ Alleluia.
○ The LORD is king, in splendor robed;
robed is the LORD and girt about with strength. ◎
○ And he has made the world firm, not to be moved.
      Your throne stands firm from of old;
from everlasting you are, O LORD. ◎
○ Your decrees are worthy of trust indeed:
      holiness befits your house,
O LORD, for length of days. ◎

복음  환호송  Alleluia Jn 3:14-15

◎ Alleluia, alleluia.
○ The Son of Man must be lifted up,
so that everyone who believes in him
      may have eternal life.
◎ Alleluia, alleluia.

복음  Gospel
< No one has gone up to heaven except the one
who has come down from heaven, the Son of Man. >

The Holy Gospel according to John. Jn 3:7b-15
Jesus said to Nicodemus:
"'You must be born from above.'
The wind blows where it wills, and you can hear the sound it makes,
but you do not know where it comes from or where it goes;
so it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit."
Nicodemus answered and said to him,
'How can this happen?"
Jesus answered and said to him,
"You are the teacher of Israel and you do not understand this?
Amen, amen, I say to you,
we speak of what we know and we testify to what we have seen,
but you people do not accept our testimony.
If I tell you about earthly things and you do not believe,
how will you believe if I tell you about heavenly things?
No one has gone up to heaven
except the one who has come down from heaven, the Son of Man.
And just as Moses lifted up the serpent in the desert,
so must the Son of Man be lifted up,
so that everyone who believes in him may have eternal life."

The Gospel of the Lord.
◎ Praise to you, Lord Jesus Christ

예물 기도  Prayer over the Gifts

Lord,
Through this sacred mystery of Easter,
you have accomplished our salvation.
May this sacrifice, which we offer in thanksgiving,
become for us a source of eternal joy.
Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, for ever and ever.
Amen. …….

감사송  Preface
< Easter Proclamation 1: The Mystery of the Paschal

It is truly right and just,
our duty and our salvation,
always and everywhere to give you thanks,
O Lord, holy Father, almighty and everlasting God.
But on this night, above all nights,
we are bound to praise you with joy and gladness,
for on this night Christ our Passover has been sacrificed.
He is the true Lamb who has taken away the sins of the world.
By his death he has destroyed our death,
and by his rising to life he has restored us to life.
Therefore, the whole world exults in gladness,
and the choirs of angels sing in heaven.
The redeemed rejoice on earth,
and all creation is radiant
with the splendor of your glory.

영성체송  Communion antiphon Luke 24:46, 26

It was necessary for the Christ to suffer
and rise from the dead on the third day,
and for repentance and forgiveness
of sins to be proclaimed in his name to all nations,
beginning from Jerusalem.
Alleluia.

영성체 후 묵상  Meditation after Communion

< Let us pray silently for a while in union with Christ. >

영성체 후 기도  Prayer after Communion

Lord,
We have received the sacrament of your salvation,
and we pray that by the mystery of this holy exchange
you will help us to live faithfully in this world
and finally attain eternal happiness.
Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with you
in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, for ever and ever.
Amen. …….

오늘의 묵상  Today's Meditation

The Lectionary for the Easter season focuses on the resurrection of Jesus Christ, which is why there is no Old Testament reading. Today's reading is the second half of the encounter between Jesus and Nicodemus, which we read during Lent. Nicodemus, a Pharisee and a member of the Jewish ruling council, acknowledges that Jesus' works are from God, but he wants to know for sure if Jesus is truly from God. Jesus tells him that he must be "born from above" to see the kingdom of God.
What does it mean to be born from above? Even Nicodemus, a brilliant man, struggles to understand this concept. He asks, "How can a person be born when he is old?"
The Greek word for "above" is "anothen," which can also mean "again" or "from the beginning." In this context, "born from above" means "born from God." This is why the reading is repeated during the Easter season: to emphasize that the resurrection is a new birth from God.
There is a difference between being born and being born again. Being born happens without our consent, but being born again is a choice we make to accept true salvation.
The first reading from the Acts of the Apostles shows us an example of being born again. The early Christians, who were united in their witness to the resurrection, shared their possessions with each other so that no one would be in need. This decision brought them great favor.
When we become less prideful, less stubborn, less fearful, and less anxious, we are being born again from above. This is the life of the resurrection, to which we are all invited.
