Almighty God,

์ œ 1๋…์„œ  First Reading
< They also preached the gospel of the Lord Jesus to the Greeks. >

โ–ฅ A reading from the Acts of the Apostles.  Acts 11:19-26
Those who had been scattered by the persecution
that arose because of Stephen
went as far as Phoenicia, Cyprus, and Antioch,
preaching the word to no one but Jews.
There were some Cypriots and Cyrenians among them, however,
who came to Antioch and began to speak to the Greeks as well,
proclaiming the Lord Jesus.
The hand of the Lord was with them
and a great number who believed turned to the Lord.
The news about them reached the ears of the Church in Jerusalem,
and they sent Barnabas to go to Antioch.
When he arrived and saw the grace of God,
he rejoiced and encouraged them all
to remain faithful to the Lord in firmness of heart,
for he was a good man, filled with the Holy Spirit and faith.
And a large number of people was added to the Lord.
Then he went to Tarsus to look for Saul,
and when he had found him he brought him to Antioch.
For a whole year they met with the Church
and taught a large number of people,
and it was in Antioch that the disciples
were first called Christians.

The Word of the Lord.
โ—Ž Thanks be to God.

ํ™”๋‹ต์†ก Responsorial Psalm Ps 87:1b-3, 4-5, 6-7(โ—Ž117:1a)

โ—Ž All you nations, praise the Lord.
or:

โ—Ž Alleluia.
โ—‹ His foundation upon the holy mountains
    the LORD loves:
    The gates of Zion,
more than any dwelling of Jacob.
Glorious things are said of you,
    O city of God! โ—Ž
โ—‹ I tell of Egypt and Babylon
    among those who know the LORD;
    Of Philistia, Tyre, Ethiopia:
    “This man was born there.”
And of Zion they shall say:
    “One and all were born in her;
And he who has established her
is the Most High LORD.” โ—Ž
โ—‹ They shall note, when the peoples are enrolled:
    “This man was born there.”
And all shall sing, in their festive dance:
“My home is within you.” โ—Ž

๋ณต์Œ  ํ™˜ํ˜ธ์†ก Alleluia Jn 10:27

โ—Ž Alleluia, alleluia.
โ—‹ My sheep hear my voice, says the Lord;
I know them, and they follow me.

โ—Ž Alleluia, alleluia.

๋ณต์Œ Gospel
< The Father and I are one. >

โœ  The Holy Gospel according to John. Jn 10:22-30
The feast of the Dedication was taking place in Jerusalem.
It was winter.
And Jesus walked about in the temple area on the Portico of Solomon.
So the Jews gathered around him and said to him,
“How long are you going to keep us in suspense?
If you are the Christ, tell us plainly.”
Jesus answered them, “I told you and you do not believe.
The works I do in my Father’s name testify to me.
But you do not believe, because you are not among my sheep.
My sheep hear my voice;
I know them, and they follow me.
I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish.
No one can take them out of my hand.
My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all,
and no one can take them out of the Father’s hand.
The Father and I are one.”

The Gospel of the Lord.
โ—Ž Praise to you, Lord Jesus Christ

์˜ˆ๋ฌผ ๊ธฐ๋„  Prayer over the Gifts

Lord,
through this holy mystery of Pascha,
you have accomplished our salvation.
May this sacrifice that we offer
in gratitude be for us the source of eternal joy.
Through our Lord…….

๊ฐ์‚ฌ์†ก  Preface
< Easter Proclamation 1: The Mystery of the Paschal

It is truly right and just,
our duty and our salvation,
always and everywhere to give you thanks,
O Lord, holy Father, almighty and everlasting God.
But on this night, above all nights,
we are bound to praise you with joy and gladness,
for on this night Christ our Passover has been sacrificed.
He is the true Lamb who has taken away the sins of the world.
By his death he has destroyed our death,
and by his rising to life he has restored us to life.
Therefore, the whole world exults in gladness,
and the choirs of angels sing in heaven.
The redeemed rejoice on earth,
and all creation is radiant
with the splendor of your glory.

์˜์„ฑ์ฒด์†ก Communion antiphon  Lk 24:46.26

Christ has suffered
and risen from the dead,
and entered into your glory.
Alleluia!

์˜์„ฑ์ฒด ํ›„ ๊ธฐ๋„ Prayer after Communion

Lord,
we receive the sacrament of salvation,
and beseech you to help us
through this mystery of holy exchange,
to live faithfully in this world
and finally to attain eternal happiness.
Through our Lord…….

์˜ค๋Š˜์˜ ๋ฌต์ƒ  Today's Meditation

Today's reading tells us about the origin of the word "Christian". When rumors spread to Jerusalem that the gospel was being preached in Antioch, a major cultural center at the time, the church in Jerusalem sent Barnabas. Through him, many people were led to the Lord and received instruction, and it was at this time that the disciples of Jesus were first called Christians. "Christian" means "one who confesses Jesus of Nazareth as the Christ (Messiah)". It is an expression of confession that Jesus, who grew up and lived in Nazareth (human nature), is also God who is Christ (divine nature).
In today's gospel, the Jews ask Jesus to take a clear stand on whether or not he is the "Christ". Jesus says twice, "I have already told you, but you do not believe," pointing out their apathy and lack of communication. If we do not trust each other, we cannot communicate or solve anything, and we only repeat control and threats. So how does faith arise?
First of all, we must listen to the voice of the other person (yesterday's gospel), follow that voice (today's gospel), and thereby be able to testify to the sincerity and beauty of the other person.
A Christian does not simply mean someone who lives a morally exemplary life. Rather, it refers to those who distinguish and listen to the voice of Jesus Christ, the shepherd, believe and follow him in any situation, and testify to that relationship. When such a relationship is not formed, even if they say "clearly" like the Jews in today's gospel, they will only repeat the same doubts, saying, "Please tell me clearly again." Since they cannot hear the "voice", no matter how much they speak, they cannot understand, and since they hold on to doubt, faith cannot arise.
In order to have faith, we must first listen to the voice of the other person, follow that voice, and thereby be able to testify to the sincerity and beauty of the other person. When we do this, we can build a relationship of trust with the other person, and only then can faith begin to grow.
