As Sunday is the culmination of the week, the Easter Sunday Mass is the pinnacle of the liturgical year.
The resurrection of Jesus Christ, who triumphed over death and evil, is a source of immense joy and hope for all Christians. It is the cornerstone of our faith.
The Easter Sunday Mass is a time to give thanks for the power of God and the grace of the Lord's resurrection.

Today is Easter Sunday, the most important day in the Christian calendar.
We have been raised to new life with Christ, so let us focus on heavenly things, not on earthly things.
Let us join Mary Magdalene, the first person to see the risen Lord, in singing with joy:
"Christ, my hope, has risen from the dead! Alleluia, alleluia!"

O God,

“They have taken the Lord from the tomb,
and we don’t know where they put him.”
So Peter and the other disciple went out and came to the tomb.
They both ran, but the other disciple ran faster than Peter
and arrived at the tomb first;
he bent down and saw the burial cloths there, but did not go in.
When Simon Peter arrived after him,
he went into the tomb and saw the burial cloths there,
and the cloth that had covered his head,
not with the burial cloths but rolled up in a separate place.
Then the other disciple also went in,
the one who had arrived at the tomb first,
and he saw and believed.
For they did not yet understand the Scripture
that he had to rise from the dead.

<It is preferable for each community to prepare its own prayers.

1. For the Church:
Let us pray for the Church, that the light of the Holy Spirit may shine upon her as she rejoices in the resurrection of the Lord. May the Church always proclaim the joyful message of salvation to the whole world with strong vitality and passion.
2. For Business People:
Let us pray for business people, that the Lord may guide them not to be focused solely on material gain but to strive for an environment that benefits all creation.
3. For the Newly Baptized:
Let us pray for the newly baptized, that the Lord may care for them and grant them abundant grace. May they experience the hope of salvation and the joy of eternal life.
4. For Family Communities:
Let us pray for family communities, that the Lord may bless them as they live together in love. May they imitate the love of the risen Jesus Christ and practice true love.

< Easter Proclamation 1: The Mystery of the Paschal 

It is truly right and just,
our duty and our salvation,
always and everywhere to give you thanks,
O Lord, holy Father, almighty and everlasting God.

we are bound to praise you with joy and gladness,
for on this night Christ our Passover has been sacrificed.
He is the true Lamb who has taken away the sins of the world.
By his death he has destroyed our death,
and by his rising to life he has restored us to life.

“For they did not yet understand

the Scripture that he must rise from the dead.”
If we read the Bible, which records the words and deeds of Jesus,

and still do not believe or understand the resurrection of Jesus,

we will not be able to experience or share the joy of the resurrection.
Let us deeply meditate on the mystery of Pascha,

which is the passage from death to new life in the spring, when all things come to life.

์˜ค๋Š˜์˜ ๋ฌต์ƒ  Today's Meditation

The Gospel passage for the Easter Vigil Mass tells us about the journey of faith of three people. This journey is carried out through the verb "to see."
The first verb that appears is "blepo." It simply refers to the act of seeing an object or situation visually. Mary Magdalene "sees" that the stone of the tomb has been rolled away, and John "sees" the linen cloths inside the tomb. They simply saw a scene.
The second verb is "theoreo," which means to "look at" or "examine" something carefully. Peter, who arrived a little late, "examines" the situation inside the tomb, carefully observing the state of the linen cloths and the napkin. He considers the context and tries to understand what this situation means.
The third verb is "horao." Peter and John, who entered the tomb after him, "see" and believe. At this point, "seeing" goes beyond the simple visual function and means the act of recognizing and understanding something that is not visible. Through these three verbs, today's Gospel tells us that the characters progress from simply "seeing" at first, to "examining" the situation carefully, and finally to the grace of believing in what they see, even the invisible.
It is a grace to be able to believe what is shown to us. There are too many cases where we do not believe even when we are shown. The connection between the empty tomb and the resurrection is an event that can only be properly experienced through the "seeing" of love and trust, beyond mere intellectual understanding.
Believing that the "absence" of Jesus in the empty tomb is actually the beginning of his "omnipresence" everywhere, and confessing that the empty tomb is the most clear and evident proof of the resurrection - this is the new "seeing" that we have through the resurrection.
